When Bob and I started IVO Systems in 2019, we saw the need for operations-focused construction software.
During our previous 7 years working together in the industry, Bob in the shop managing a heavy equipment fleet and myself in the office estimating and managing projects, we used the market offerings of the time.
We saw firsthand how difficult these platforms were to use. Through this difficulty, we failed to get 100% adoption, which led us to build the software we wished we had.
Our mission was to create simple and easy-to-use software that promoted company wide access and field adoption, improving the communication gap between the field and the office.
In 2020, Homburg Construction went to CONEXPO (super bowl of construction trade shows) to find a better solution than our basic first software release and came back to sign a long-term contract. At that point, we knew we had something.
Our early customers like Parisi – A Walbec Company and Midwest Mole have been instrumental in helping us build out our software platform to address the industry’s most pressing needs.
It’s also humbling to have select customers like Woods Dirt and Eramo & Sons investing alongside our lead investor TitletownTech, a Wisconsin venture capital firm formed out of a partnership between the Green Bay Packers and Microsoft.
We are excited to use this funding to increase our marketing and sales efforts to reach and help more construction companies. It's now come full circle, we were able to attend CONEXPO with a booth and have been thrilled by the reception we’ve received, closing clients from all over the country and world who are looking for better solutions. We are proud that these customers chose IVO Systems, knowing they looked at every available option.
IVO Systems has a robust solution that is already built out, but we are excited to speed up new feature development along with continuing to improve our existing features.

I’m incredibly excited for the future. We know what the industry needs based on our experience and have been fortunate to work with great people who understand that without field adoption, construction software does not work. Construction workers are the profit center of construction companies that build and maintain the world’s infrastructure. It’s our job to make their job easier, by streamlining their workflows and responsibilities.
