Before founding IVO Systems, Eric Christensen worked for a Wisconsin heavy civil contractor, where his team tried numerous software tools but struggled to find one that fit how they managed daily operations. Much of the software they tried seemed to be built around estimating or accounting, with daily field operations getting less attention. Eric eventually left to build the software he wished they had, and that became IVO.
IVO’s first modules were for telematics aggregation and an online magnet board for equipment locations and statuses.
